The right season for your holiday in Dubai is about to start. We welcome you with information about the current travel conditions to Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

Important to know is that Passengers traveling to Dubai from all countries must meet one of the conditions below at the departure airport:

     *to present a valid vaccination certificate against COVID-19, certifying that the passenger is fully vaccinated with a vaccine approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) or the UAE. The certificate must contain a QR code.

     *to present a valid negative test certificate for COVID-19, which should be based on a molecular diagnostic test for the qualitative detection of nucleic acid for SARS-COV-2 viral RNA. The certificate must be issued within 48 hours of sample collection by an authorized healthcare provider and must contain a QR code.

     *to present a valid medical certificate from the competent authorities that the passenger has recovered from COVID-19, issued within one month before the date of arrival. The certificate must contain a QR code.

 Only children under 12 are exempt from these conditions.

 For passengers traveling to Abu Dhabi, the conditions at the departure airport are as follows:

 *to present a valid vaccination certificate against COVID-19, certifying that the passenger is fully vaccinated with a vaccine approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) or the UAE. The certificate must contain a QR code, or

 On arrival in Abu Dhabi:

An RT-PCR test is no longer mandatory upon arrival in Abu Dhabi. However, one can take the test to keep the "Green Pass" active on the Al Hosn app and gain access to public places in Abu Dhabi. The test costs AED 40. In addition, passengers do not have to undergo the quarantine measure on arrival.

In Abu Dhabi, the rule to enter various tourist attractions or malls is to present the Green Pass, the green QR code from the Al Hosn application. Maybe there are tourists who were not asked, but this is the rule, it depends on you if you want to risk not being received in different locations.

 For the transfer from Abu Dhabi airport to Dubai, you can use the shuttle service, a bus that runs every hour from the airport parking lot to Dubai, Ibn Battuta station. The cost is 35 AED/person, and you can buy tickets there, from the ticket machine or at the door of the bus. Depending on how many people you are, you can also opt for a taxi, the price being between 100-200 AED.
