Every year, on the last day of December, Dubai gives us a series of fireworks to usher in the new year. It's one of the most spectacular ways to celebrate, and if you're planning to go and watch the glittering spectacle, here's where you can do it:

Burj Khalifa

Burj Khalifa has always impressed us with beautiful fireworks! This time it will take place and present a record-breaking laser and fireworks show to celebrate the arrival of the new year. Spectators can expect a spectacular laser and fireworks show where the iconic building will be fully illuminated, lighting up the night sky. The annual laser and fireworks show will also be synchronized with a mesmerizing performance by the Dubai Fountains - an integral part of the UAE New Year celebrations. Recommended to go early to find your "perfect spot" to enjoy this extraordinary show!

 

Atlantis The Palm & The Pointe

If you want to see a beautiful fireworks display and enjoy a night of music by pop artist Kylie Minogue, you can do it here. The numerous restaurants in the area await you!

The Pointe is always a great place to spend time at one of the many restaurants or simply for a walk! Visitors will be able to catch the fireworks from Atlantis, Palm; Palm West Beach and Club Vista Mare, plus be treated to the gorgeous fountain show

 

Palm West Beach and Club Vista Mare

 

Both Palm West Beach and Club Vista Mare host their own NYE fireworks display, which you can enjoy from one of the very popular restaurants.

 

The beach opposite JBR

Head to the beach and watch the fireworks light up the sky, barefoot in the sand or at one of the many restaurants at JBR or Pavilion at The Beach. You can also watch the show aboard a sea taxi - which you have to board from Marina Mall Station.

 

Bluewaters Dubai

Do you like drone shows? Head to Bluewaters Dubai where you can catch one of the many shows (from 8pm to 1am) and when the clock strikes 12, you'll also be treated to an amazing firework display to usher in 2023.

 

Dubai Festival City Mall

There are plenty of ways to have fun at Dubai Festival City Mall. You can shop at the mall, visit the outdoor market – Vibes by The Bay, have dinner while watching the amazing water show of the fountain and be amazed by the IMAGINE water and laser show. For New Year's Eve, you'll also be treated to a dazzling five-minute fireworks display that will bring in 2023.

 

Global Village

This year Global Village is hosting not just one, but seven fireworks displays. It starts at 8pm on the main stage – which coincides with midnight in the Philippines. After this, fireworks are held at 9:00 p.m., 10:00 p.m., 10:30 p.m., 11:00 p.m., 12:00 p.m., and 1:00 a.m. Each dazzling display will have its own dedicated countdown. On the big day, gates open at 4pm and the Global Village will stay open until 2am.
